ATC 500 - Enhanced Air Traffic Collegiate Initial Tower CAB Training Instructions

This is the general introduction of what is required for the Enhanced Air traffic Collegiate Initial Tower CAB training course which includes a general discussion of the requirements, testing, and Table Top Lab/Tower 3D Lab Orientation/Demonstration

A cumulative score at the end of the course is derived from 5 academic block tests, a final comprehensive exam, and 2 scored Local Control and 2 scored Ground Control lab problems. 

End-of-Lesson Tests (ELTs)

End-of-lesson tests are knowledge tests that occur at the end of each lesson. The purpose of the ELT is to provide feedback to students and instructors on student retention of key concepts and information and to identify knowledge areas in which students need additional explanation, study, or remediation.

The final cumulative score is weighted as follows: 

Academic Block Tests - 1% each (5% total) 

Final Comprehensive Exam - 5 % 

Local Control Assessment 1 - 30% 

Local Control Assessment 2 - 30% 

Ground Control Assessment 1 - 15% 

Ground Control Assessment 2 - 15%

A passing grade of 70%(actual calculated grade) or better is required to pass this course , and any separation errors in either the Ground Control Assessment or the Local Control Assessment is automatically considered a failure. No Retakes on the exams are allowed
