ATC 494 - Advanced Air Traffic Control Basic Tower

Knowledge of moderate to busy tower operations including: control tower equipment; Flight Data procedures; airspace rules and procedures; VFR traffic pattern, including sequencing multiple IFR and VFR inbound aircraft; parallel runway procedures and intersecting runway operations; Land and Hold Short Operations (LAHSO); handling of emergency aircraft, notification and procedures for Airport Rescue Fire Fighting (ARFF); System Information Areas (SIAs); inter and intra facility coordination; same runway separation; wake turbulence separation; and SOP for the transfer of position responsibility. ATC Simulator Fees Required.
