AAM 491 - Quality Systems/ISO 9000

A three-credit course introducing the student to the basics of quality as it applies to aircraft maintenance, using the ISO 9000 quality standard. Students will be shown the intricacies of why certification is obtained. The course will include topics such as history of aviation quality systems, quality terminology, inspection and test status, and control of quality records.
