FLT 102 - General Aeronautics II 3 credit(s) This course covers the second half of the Private Pilot curriculum. Topics include weather theory and forecasting, performance calculations, navigation systems, cross-country flight planning, and applied human factors. A grade of B or higher is required to complete this course, and all required FAA Stage Exams require a minimum grade of 80%. All students taking this course will utilize five hours of simulation time to enhance the Private Pilot and/or the ATC-CTI curriculum. Financial counseling is required for students in the Aircraft Operations program, and an FAA First Class Medical is highly recommended. FAA RATP Qualified. Prerequisite(s): FLT 101 , FLT 101L and FLT 101A Corequisite(s): FLT 102L and FLT 101B
